Bo has announced its first international expansion with the release of its Bo M e-scooter in Ireland, partnering with Dublin’s Lifty Electrics for retail and support. Ireland recently legalized e-scooters, marking it as a prime location for Bo’s entry into the European market. The Bo M, branded as the “world’s safest and most stylish e-scooter,” is engineered for urban mobility and designed by former Williams F1 and Jaguar Land Rover engineers.
The Bo M’s Monocurve chassis, crafted from a single aluminum piece, integrates features for a solid design, supporting Bo’s patented Safesteer technology, a steering stabilizer that enhances control over bumps and uneven surfaces, ensuring a smooth, confidence-boosting ride. The Bo M also includes Lock and Load cargo hooks, making it easier and safer for riders to secure belongings without impacting steering.
Additional engineering highlights include the Airdeck footpad, which minimizes road vibrations with an EVA foam design, and an all-weather-capable build with IP66 waterproofing and high-quality pneumatic tires. The scooter is equipped with a regenerative rear brake and front drum brake, enhancing braking efficiency and battery regeneration.
Performance-wise, the Bo M boasts a 1,200W motor and 38Nm torque, allowing speeds up to 35 km/h (limited to 20 km/h for Irish regulations) and a 50 km range. Lighting is also enhanced with a 270-degree Light Halo for improved road visibility, complemented by an 800-lumen headlight and rear brake-activated lights.
The Bo M is priced at €2,349 (~$2,539) and is available for order online and through Lifty Electrics in Dublin.
