Welp, we’re finally here. Prime Day has officially started and it will go until tomorrow night, October 9. Tons of products both great and fine will toted across Amazon’s front page with deals of varying quality, but don’t let that fool you into thinking it’s where all the good savings are to be had.
Every other retailer recognizes what’s going on this week and are housing their own deals on their sites, some even better than what’s on Amazon today and tomorrow. As an example, Samsung has its 32″ Odyssey OLED G8 monitor down to its lowest price ever right now. Normally, it’s going for $1,300, but right now you can save $350 and get it just for $950. Additionally, the 34″ Odyssey OLED G8 is down $550 so you can get it for just $650.
A Gamer’s Best Companion
OLED is absolutely the way to go when it comes to a gaming monitor. Witness epic visuals, color, and definition like no other with high detail and imagery. OLEDs use a wider spectrum of colors, shades, and contrasts so that the blacks are dark and the whites are bright. It uses an AI processor that can even upscale lower resolutions to nearly 4K, great from streaming using the Gaming Hub or Smart TV apps.
The 32″ Odyssey OLED G8 monitor uses both an HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort connections, with refresh rates are as high as 240 Hz with a response time of just 0.03ms. You can dodge or parry in an instant from your perspective and the animations and camera movements will be smooth as butter with those high frame rates that are now possible while still in a 4K UHD resolution.
Tech this good has a tendency of getting hot when the processor is going buck wild. That’s a non-issue here as the 32″ Odyssey OLED G8 monitor uses a dynamic cooling system. Inside the monitor is a pulsating heat pipe which prevents burn-in and reduces the temperature of the core. The heat diffuses five times better than the old method which used a graphite sheet.
Stay undistracted with your focus entirely on what’s on screen, not what’s being reflected from behind you. The OLED is glare-free so any external light sources will not stop you from properly seeing the screen and reading the HUD within your game. It’s 54% less glossy than conventional anti-reflection film. Don’t let the enemy get the drop on you.
The 32″ Odyssey OLED G8 monitor has seen some sales here and there since it first released, but never quite like this. Right now it is at it’s lowest price ever — down from $1,300 to just $900. That’s a $400 savings. Also, don’t miss the 34″ Odyssey OLED G8 is down $550 so you can get it for just $650.
