One solid pair of headphones are a must have for anyone. Whether it’s to enjoy music or podcasts on the subway, watch videos without disturbing those around you, or to take calls easily without getting your phone out of your pocket. Bluetooth earbuds are the best way to listen on the go or while in a crowded environment. The benefit is obvious, but what isn’t as obvious is when an earbud manufacturer totes its product has having “ChatGPT Integration.” What does that mean exactly? We’ll get to that but in the mean time, check them out because they’re down to only $119.
ChatGPT-Integrated Earbuds
AI is popping up in every piece of new tech. Both Samsung and Apple announced their new lineup of smartphones in the past month and to no one’s surprise, they are each leading with integration for their proprietary AI services. Marketers will squeeze “AI technology” into their product descriptions because they know its a popular buzzword this year and it’s good for SEO as it becomes a more popular search term.
So with all that in mind, what does it mean for these Nothing earbuds to have ChatGPT integration?
Nothing describes these earbuds as the first of its kind, allowing the wearer to “ask, listen, and learn” from ChatGPT on the go. you can use voice control to access ChatGPT within the Nothing ecosystem when connected to Nothing phones, which you probably don’t have. Product description states the feature is coming soon to Ear (1) and Ear (2), but no word on when.
So the answer to that question right now is … they are regular earbuds. However, as far as regular earbuds go, these ain’t bad by a long shot.
What to Expect
The Nothing earbuds make use of adaptive ANC, being able to switch between three levels on noise cancelation on the fly. Based on your surroundings in real time, the earbuds will adjust automatically.
The earbuds have support for dual connections so you can play music on your laptop and then switch to answer a call on your phone seamlessly and effortlessly.
When taking that call, the microphone can isolate your voice from everyday sounds happening around you so the person on the other end hears you clearly like you’re having a face-to-face conversation.
Finely control of the levels of the hi-res wireless audio you’re listening to with the bass enhance algorithm and the powerful 11mm ceramic driver. Listen for up to 8.5 hours on a single charge with ANC turned on. And get 10 hours of ANC-off listening time after charging from zero for just 10 minutes.
ChatGPT or no ChatGPT — these are a solid set of earbuds and right now they are on sale for $119.
